Feature Requests

I'd like to be able to see the emails that I've sent to my clients after I've sent them.

Dear Indy Team, I'm requesting some new features that would significantly enhance WeAreIndy's accounting capabilities. These features would streamline my workflow and allow me to manage client projects more efficiently. Proposed Features: Accounting Income & Expense Tracking: Ability to track income and expenses associated with each client project, allowing for accurate project profitability analysis. Profit & Loss Statements: Generation of project-specific profit and loss statements for a clear view of financial performance. Vendor Management: Ability to manage vendor information within the platform, including contact details, payment terms, etc. Integration with more popular payment gateways (Payoneer) Customizable expense categories to track different types of costs (e.g., travel, marketing, office supplies). Ability to scan and upload receipts for easy expense tracking. I'm eager to see how Indy continues to evolve and look forward to these improvements. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I would love an automated email response to a form. I use the forms feature to embed an enquiry form in my website. When a prospective client fills in the form, it would be good if it fired off a placeholder email thanking them for their enquiry and saying I'll get back to them in a day or two. This is something I could do using the WIX contact form and CRM. It is a loss not to have it on Indy. The AI chat said I can use Zapier, but £16 a month for one automation is a lot.

Why do we bother paying for a plan which includes live chat support when you ignore it!?

My clients are invoiced for work completed with flexible pay options. I like to keep my records clean by having a live tab of how much they paid and when they paid it and whats remaining on the invoice. As it stands right now, I can receive partial payment but cannot reflect the changes on my indy invoice. This should be a feature. Im surprised a function like this is not available.

Personalize the contacts more with pics, website links, social links, and birthday reminders to help nurture leads and clients.

I'd like to be able to easily export contacts within Indy.

I'd like to be able to add a deposit to a proposal.

It would be amazing to have a 2 way email sync feature (inbound and outbound) for all client emails that show up in the clients record front and center. It would also be great if it would sync all email history and not just from the day the connection was made. This feature is found in great CRM products like PipeDrive and Close.com . It is SO helpful when you send and receive a lot of emails from your mobile device or desktop. PLEASE PLEASE consider this.
